How do I link my financial accounts with Bookmate?
All online banks and payment processors allow businesses the option to offer 'view-only' account privileges. Add the email 'bookkeeping@trybookmate.com' as a view-only member of your accounts so we can get started on keeping your books! Your account manager will work with you to make sure things are linked up properly.
Can I get help connecting my accounts?
Absolutely, your account manager will help you with whatever you need to get started with Bookmate! You can also enter a support ticket if you need additional help.
How does Bookmate pricing work?
Our bookkeeping and tax plans are based on a monthly subscription model with transparent pricing that scales with your expense rate and your business needs. When you sign up with Bookmate we will approve the plan you selected when we view your connected financial accounts. We will notify you if your finances do not fit with the plan you chose, or if your business has outgrown your current plan!
How do I cancel my subscription?
With Bookmate, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Simply notify your account manager that you will like to cancel and we will close your account. Since we use QuickBooks, you can move your books anywhere or go back to doing them yourself without losing any of the work you paid for with Bookmate.
What kind of bookkeeping service does Bookmate offer?
Bookmate focuses on cash based bookkeeping because it's the best fit for most of our clients. If you need accrual basis bookkeeping, let us know!
What software does Bookmate use?
Bookmate integrates with QuickBooks Online because it's simple and offers a number of advantages, including easy tax prep and portability if you would like to leave Bookmate. We can help you transition your books to QBO from another software if you need to!
